Assam Results 2020 for Class 12 or AHSEC HS Results have been declared on ahsec.nic.in. Assam Higher Secondary Education Council, AHSEC has released the AHSEC HS Results at 9 am on June 25.

The total number of candidates who appeared this year is 1,68,367, the passing percentage is 78.28%. This year’s topper Pubali Deka, Shraddha Bogohain have topped with 481/500 or 96.2%

To check the Class 12 result for all streams- Arts, Commerce and Science, candidates will have to follow these simple steps given below.
- Visit the official site of AHSEC at ahsec.nic.in. (Or any of the links provided above. The steps are in line with the official website.)
- Click on Assam Board Class 12 result link available on the home page.
- A new page will open where candidates will have to enter their respective roll numbers.
- The result will be displayed on the screen.
- Check the result and download the page.
Assam Result 2020: Pass Percentage, passing criteria, Toppers
The pass percentage for 2020 is 78.28%. AHSEC had recorded a rather high pass percentage of 80.57 in 2019. It has slightly improved from the past year.
As for the passing criteria, there is no change and students need to score 33% or more to pass a paper. Also, this year, due to COVID19, AHSEC decided to promote all class 11 students without examinations.
This year Pubali Deka, Shraddha Bogohain have topped the class 12h results with 96.2 % while Kashmiri Das and Anwesha Kashyap stand 2nd with 477 marks out of 500.
In 2019 Assam Board 12th class was topped by Bitupan Arandhara with 95.60 % in science stream and Asim Sarkar with 94.80% in commerce stream. In 2018 Amar Sing Thapa was the topper.
This year the examination was conducted from February 12 to March 14, 2020, at 772 exam centres in the state. The evaluation process was delayed due to coronavirus outbreak which is why the results this year have been delayed. For more related details, candidates can visit the official site of AHSEC.
