1. Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve, Maharashtra

It is one of the oldest wildlife sanctuaries famous for its exotic carnivores’ tigers and it is a protected tiger reserve in India.

The park is evergreen at all times with its unique topographical locations. Apart from the animal species, it is also home to a plethora of plant species like axle wood, fire-resistant species of trees, black plums, palas, Arjun, etc.

The entry per person is Rs. 20 and Rs. 50 per vehicle. If you want a guide then it would cost Rs. 100.

2. Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary, Karnataka

It is one of the best wildlife sanctuaries in the state of Karnataka. It has a wide species of plants and animals like predators, reptiles, insects, and also is home to many migratory species best for the birdwatchers and photographers in Karnataka.

Try out jungle safari apart from the moonlight boat ride, white river rafting, etc. Some exotic species are tigers, black panthers, flying squirrels, leopards, etc.

The timing of the park is from 12 am to 6 pm. It costs about Rs. 40 for jeep safaris and Rs. 40 per Indian and Rs. 80 for foreigners.

3. Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary, Goa

This wildlife sanctuary is located in a small town of Mollem in Goa covering picturesque forests and jungles. It has both historical and geographical significance making it so much popular in the world of wildlife sanctuaries.

It is a frequent visit for birdwatchers, being home to diverse avifauna. It is also home to many animals. Also, take the experience of climbing Devil’s Canyon from the whole view. 

It is open from 9 am to 5.30 pm and it costs Rs. 10 for adults and when it comes to students, it costs Rs. 3.

4. Interview Island wildlife sanctuary

It is one of its kind wildlife sanctuary founded in 1985 in Andaman with the main making to protect elephants.

If you ever plan of visiting Andaman, then you can witness the true wonders of these islands. It is considered to be bizarre as well because it combines littoral, semi-evergreen, and mangrove forest areas.

You get to see the three-striped palm squirrels in this wildlife sanctuary along with monitor lizards.

5. Chinnar Wildlife sanctuary, Kerala

This sanctuary is so colourful and vivid holding a special place in the hearts of all nature lovers. It also has many medicinal herbs, plants along with a rich cultural heritage.

Apart from wildlife safari, it is a great place for trekking as well. Nilgiri Tahr, mugger crocodiles, star tortoise, tufted grey langar’s, etc. are the specialities found here.
